EVANGELIST EXORCISES CLEAR CHANNEL NEWSCAST
![]() |
In a ceremony commissioned by the firebrand media watchdog group NEWSBREAKERS, the Reverend Snakewater intercepted a live news broadcast by Clear Channel property WHAM-TV (Ch. 13). Snakewater carried a wooden cross and delivered harsh criticism for the media conglomerate. Clear Channel owns WHAM-TV as well as WHAM 1180 AM in Rochester. Nationally, the company owns more than 1200 radio stations and 41 television stations. It also owns major interests in outdoor advertising and concert venues.
Video of the event is available on www.newsbreakers.org/video.htm.

Loyalty Statement
by Andrew A. Anissi
I am loyal to the following institutions, in order.
First, to my family, to whom I have the strongest bond;
Second, to Rochester, the city of my birth, where I lived for the first 25 years of my life, and which my parents chose to settle in 30 years ago;
Third, to the East Village of New York, which is the neighborhood I have have chosen to live in now;
Fourth, to New York State, in which I have been a lifelong resident, and who provided for my education, and who has watched over Rochester and the East Village, and who provides a complete set of resources for a state-wide civilization;
Fifth, to the United States of America, of which I am a lifelong citizen, and in whose culture I grew up in, and who defends me and my communities from external threats;
Sixth, to New York City, the economic driving force behind the State and Nation, and thus the economic driving force behind all above communities; and
Seventh, to the United Nations, the community representing my entire species, and the only hope for world peace.
If Imperial Iran should ever arise again, as the land of my ancestors, it would be my eighth community, but no higher on the list, because I am too culturally removed from it now.

Existence
Here, I present a metaphysical axiom, all of which are one particular way of regarding existence. From my perspective, everything may be divided into the following categories:
1) Self
2) External
That part of me which is me, is myself, and everything else, including my body, I will regard as external. Since I have defined these entities as discrete and separate, I must also define their relationship, or else they cannot exist together. The relationships are:
1) Experience (Effect)
2) Will (Cause)
3) Reflex (Effect Producing a New Cause)
Note that the order of these is insignificant. Anything moving from External to Self creates an Experience (i.e. in the form of the six senses, or in the form of some unknown sense). If the event has absolutely no effect upon the Self than Experience, then the chain of cause and effect ends there. But if the Experience causes a conscious or subconscious change in my behavior, then a Reflex has occurred, and my resulting behavior causes another event that changes External. However, if my physicality is separate from my Self, the only way a Reflex can occur in my Self is if my Will is exerted on an informed basis, that information having been provided by Experience. The implies that every time Will is exerted, a new causal chain begins, while at the same time, old causal chains continue by Reflex, and some old causal chains end when some Thing has an Experience that does not result in a new cause (but this cannot really happen unless a causal chain ends in some Thing never having another interaction with any other Thing ever again. Note that External has now been divided into discrete Things, which may have the same sorts of relationships with one another as Self may have with External.

Axioms
Today, I set myself on a renewed Path of Magick, on which I have treaded on and off for the past ten years. Aleister Crowley defines Magick as "the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will." By this broad definition, one can see that Magick can range in scope from the simple act of picking up a pencil and writing on a piece of paper, to promulgating a new political movement and raising and army to institute it by force. Or else, an act of Magick could be one's causing of the muscles in their throat to move their vocal chords about in such a way as to vibrate the air around them causing another character in the room to hear a sound that creates happiness, anger, sexual arousal, etc. in them. Any action you take that occurs because of a decision you made above and beyond your body's wants and fears is an act of Will and is thus and act of Magick.
